I'm back from my trip to Thailand and very excited about the new art we will be featuring at asart soon, including works by Seri Phuengporn and an exciting new series by wildly popular Pairoj Karndee.
This month we have new works by Douglas Stewart. Stunning, aren't they?
What many don't know about Douglas, who is one of the most original artists in the world today, is that he is completely self-taught. Unbelievable, but true!
He also holds a degree in Engineering and owns numerous patents for products we use daily. Yes, Douglas is definitely a Renaissance Man.
Rather than buying paints like most artists, Douglas makes his paints from scratch. He uses the finest materials and pigments available, just like the old masters. By applying miniscule dots of this premium oil paint to canvas, he creates amazing works.

Wishing you a joyous holiday season and a Happy New Year,
